Tunisia

Travel tips, articles and links for Tunisia

Tunisia is about the same size as England but has a climate that is remarkably varied. Its Mediterranean coastline enjoys hot summers and warm winters with some rain in early spring and late autumn.
The mountainous area bordering the coast, receives more rain and even some occasional snow but away from the coasts in central Tunisia, rainfall is much lower and extremes of heat and cold are common. In the desert areas, Tunisia experiences searing daytime heat and cold nights, with very little rain at any time.
